i was standing in my kitchen, which is sort of long and narrow; more of a kitchenette. at the end is a single window which opens a view into my neighbor’s backyard, which is just a barren little meadow. every time i walk by that window and go into the kitchen, i feel like i’m being watched. the open space beyond that window seems to always hold a set of eyes… or two.. or three....
